Emergency First Responder (EFR) Course

Border City EMS also offers training for Emergency First Responders. Please note – this is not a typical first aid course. EFR training is specifically geared for targeted responders, and utilizes a curriculum meeting or exceeding that of the Emergency Medical Responder as published by the Canadian Paramedic Association’s National Occupational Competency Profile (click here for more information).

Instructors at Border City EMS have extensive training and significant experience at or above the level of Primary Care Paramedic, and are well-equipped to provide advanced training to our EFR students.

Students must have a current Standard First Aid and CPR-HCP in order to take the EFR course.

Border City EMS has an EFR course scheduled for October 29th, October 30th, November 12th, and November 20th. All 4 days are MANDATORY for successful completion. The cost of the course is $499.00, taxes included.

Should you be interested in taking this amazing training opportunity, please email us at info@bordercityems.ca or fill out the information request form here. Be sure to mention the EFR course to ensure we can answer your questions appropriately.
